Domus Deus Vindobona

The neo-Gothic Votivkirche in Vienna was commissioned by Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian following the attempted assassination of his brother, Emperor Franz Joseph, in 1853 to thank God for saving his life.

In this day and age of ever-growing surveillance and violation of privacy with almost no restrictions, in an attempt to prevent crimes before they happen, this series displays the Votivkirche set under 24/7 CCTV monitoring to surveil the house of the Surveyor in Vienna—Domus Deus Vindobona.
