Vallis Monumentum

Tsé Biiʼ Ndzisgaii (valley of the rocks) lies within the territory of the Navajo Nation, situated on the Arizona–Utah border.
Monument Valley is defined by towering sandstone buttes that rise up to 300 metres from the ground.

Terra Incognita

In this series, I find myself isolated on an arid, alien planet, still recovering from its dystopian past. Enduring the desert heat, my solitary interplanetary mission is to explore the planet’s terra incognita, Vallis Monumentum.

It is here – in this nowhere – one of my favourite places on Earth, where I long to get lost forever …
